Learical Jonez is the meaning of a true performer. With a voice that stands out from all the others, she continues to excel to the next level. Her raw performances leaves the audience captivated and wanting more. Her signature poem, "The Reason I Ryhme", explains just why she dominates the mic. "The reason I rhyme is to verbally massage your intellectual insides, and create melodies and vibrations from the tip of my tongue." Born into a family of musicians, she knew one day it would be time to leave the nest. After being a feature poet in Fort Wayne and Indianapolis, winning Indiana's "Night at the Apollo", and showcasing a number of her plays, she new it was time to leave in 2005. Now in Atlanta, she has shared the stage with Def Poets such as Tommy Bottoms, Abyss, Georgia Me, just to name a few. Artist such as Anthony David, Phillipia, Keisha Jackson, and Dionne Farris. In January 2008, she auditioned to be on the "Passion & Poetry Tour" with Joyce Littel and was on the stage February 9th,2008. The crowd erupted when she told them, "I am your whole damn paycheck, F*** a dime!!!" Coming across artist everyday in her profession, Learical remains humble and true to herself.
