About Me

My name is Doug, but anymore it seems most people call me Dougie. I'm a full time college student majoring in the performing arts as well as general education. I love music; listening to it, playing it, writing it, singing it, and dancing to it. I also enjoy acting and am finally taking classes to learn technique in both acting and dance. I intend to create a life that allows me the opportunity to spend a great deal of time on stage, which is where I feel the most alive.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

My Interests

Music, Dance, Theater, Mysticism/spirituality/quantum physics, and Yoga pretty much covers everything.

I'd like to meet:

anyone who can open my eyes to new and more enlightened ways of thinking and being.

Music:

Ferry Corsten, Madonna, Green Day, Armin Van Buuren, Fall Out Boy, Pink, Peter Gabrielle, Scissor Sisters, Fiona Apple, Paul Oakenfold, Our Lady Peace, Justin Timberlake, Kelly Clarkson. These are just a hanful of my favorite artists. I actually enjoy many different styles of music and feel that each has something to offer to my soul and its pending creations.

Movies:

There are so many great movies, and they just keep coming. I love a good horror flick. I also love to laugh, so I'm always up for a comedy. However, my heart belongs to anything that focuses on magic and journies to far off places. I've waited my whole life for The Chronicles of Narnia, and I'm a Harry Potter freak! I also love the new age documentaries that are helping to shift the paradigm of the human race, especially What the Bleep do We Know? and The Secret.

Television:

Heroes, Medium, Days of Our Lives, Nip/Tuck, American Idol, and So You Think You Can Dance.

Books:

The Harry Potter series (J.K. Rowling), The Chronicles of Narnia (C.S. Lewis), The Witching Hour Trillogy (Anne Rice), The Vampire Chronicles (Anne Rice), Conversations With God series (Neale Donald Walsch), The Odd Thomas series (Dean Kontz), Anything by Dan Brown, Anything by Gregory Maguire, The Big Book and the Basic Text (anonymous)

Heroes:

Ferry Corsten, Paul Oakenfold, Billie Joe Armstrong, and Madonna
