Life's a road, enjoy the ride...

About Me

I can't really be described in any one fashion. I'm multifaceted, which is probably the best you'll get. I'm into the outdoors big time, a reader, writer, and artist at other times. I ride motorcycles, I wrestle, I philosophize. I party on occasion, but adore a quiet fire and a good snuggle. I get restless, I am satiated. I strive for money and success, but more often for simplicity and spiritual happiness. I like to look sharp, I like to be comfortable.
I like men, I like women, and I like it better when they're androgynous. I cook and clean, love it, and then will go out and advocate womens' rights. I like to keep people guessing, but I give myself openly to anyone who inquires.
I'm secretly a hedonist and a masochist at the same time. I have a positive outlook on the world, but a morbid and sexual sense of humor. I will try most things once and with an open mind. I am a nerd, a dork, a geek and proud of it! I'm a lover and a pervert, a sex maniac and a prude. I know many people, but have few true friends. I like it that way. :)

My Interests

Cooking, dancing, exploration, performance and still art, literature, science, nature, exercise, learning, travel, bicycling, music, wine, 20's-70's fashion, love, conversations, liberation of the mind and soul.

=NOT= interested pop culture B.S., big trucks and their illiterate drivers, the Greek system, overly religious people, the TV/fast food lifestyle.

Your Values Profile
Loyalty:

You value loyalty highly.
You're completely devoted to your friends and family.
Even if they totally screw up, you're still there for them.
Just make sure they're equally loyal to you!

Honesty:

You value honesty a fair amount.
You're honest when you can be, but you aren't a stickler for it.
If a little white lie will make a situation more comfortable, you'll go for it.
In the end, you mostly care about "situational integrity."

Generosity:

You value generosity highly.
So much so that you often put your own needs last.
There's nothing wrong with having a caring heart...
But you may want to rethink your "open wallet" policy.

Humility:

You value humility a fair amount.
You tend to be an easy going, humble person.
But occasionally your ego takes over.
You have a slight competitive streak - and the need to be the best.

Tolerance:

You value tolerance highly.
Not only do you enjoy the company of those very different from you...
You do all that you can to seek it out interesting and unique friends.
You think there are many truths in life, and you're open to many of them. The Five Factor Values Test

I'd like to meet:

I'm looking to find people who are intelligent, passionate, seek out life, but don't do it through conventional norms. I crave intimate friendships, and wouldn't mind a beautiful relationship at this point in my life. I like to find people who are both mature, but still young at heart and willing to be goofy and carefree.

Music:

Anything with soul, that moves me, or I can dance to. Rhythm and blues, Motown, foreign music, swing, jazz, classical, oldies, some forms of rock (not pop or emo-screamo), folk, and calm-meditative stuff (i.e. Thievery Corporation).

Jake Shimabukuro, "While My Guitar Gently Weeps"

..

..

Movies:

I enjoy those that display tangents of humanity, such as mutations (superhero stuff) and variety (hobbits!) as well as visually pleasing things. It's got to have a great plot though. I also enjoy historical/period pieces if it's got some juicy stuff like sex and murder etc. Visually stimulating movies are entertaining when you're brain is off...

Television:

I don't really watch T.V. but I enjoy boxed sets. Mostly cartoons(family guy, futurama, sealab 2021, simpson), with some fun things like The X Files, Home Improvement, or the L Word. I can't stand reality TV!..

Books:

The classics, historical pieces, educational books including text books if I'm so inclined. Chuck Palahniuk, Kurt Vonnegut, Tolstoy. I love reading, and I love learning; history of death, global climate changes, history of queer literature, history of pot, human sexuality and society, Darwinian genetics, etc.

I’m so disappointed in you...

San Luis Obispo - You've really let me down. It's easy to drive by most things as the uncaring spectator, but when you really take a closer look at what's around you, it becomes pretty disgusting. I'd...

Maybe I should be an engineer?

It's funny how I'm always so impressed when something performs efficiently. It seems like so much is a struggle nowadays, especially when it comes to things like technology, that when a simple (primar...
