BIOGRAPHY: Dâ€,,KiA NV is a remarkable young woman who began acting in elementary school with theatrical roles in the annual school plays. With over nine years in both acting and modeling experience, Dâ€,,KiA NV has accumulated an outstanding compilation of experience, training, and work. Receiving training for modeling and acting from John Casablancas Modeling & Career Center in Maryland, exposed a new interest of a modeling pursuit. Her striking good looks and welcoming personality has made Dâ€,,KiA NV successful in landing opportunities in acting roles as well as various print advertisements.
At age nineteen, Dâ€,,KiA NV received the silver medal for spokes model at the World Championships of Performing Arts in Hollywood, CA. This award proved that with hard work produces progress. While at the competition, D'Kia was encouraged by some of the judges to continue to pursue modeling as well.
After the competition in Hollywood, CA, Dâ€,,KiA NV continued to pursue acting and modeling. As a collegiate student, modeling has been most attainable. With the completion of four fashion shows, photo shoots from MD to NY to CA, and print publications with B Magazine, Streetz Magazine, The Flywire Magazine, MRMagazine, and P-RAP.com. D'KiA has gained much experience with editorial production. Dâ€,,KiA NV has experience as a promotional model with the Terror Squad and as a spokes model.
Dâ€,,KiA NV has received other training through the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland and other seminars including classes. D'Kia was a news broadcaster for her university's radio station. Dâ€,,KiA NV's television credits include background acting for HBO's The Wire, Grasshopper Productions, local commercials, and a host for Platinum Plus DVD Magazine (syndicated in MD, VA, NY, GA, AZ), Turner Music Television (via internet), and Bob Smoke TV (local stations in Washington, D.C. and MD).
Dâ€,,KiA s spirituality defines her faith in God. Believing that "you can achieve all through Christ" is what keeps Dâ€,,KiA motivated and successful. Never giving up, Dâ€,,KiA NV has a long fulfilling career ahead.
