Steve and Tanya, we are truly what you call – “A dream come true”.We are highschool sweethearts, and believe within our hearts, that we were made for each other. We began dating in the winter of November 1991. In the spring of April 1992, Steve was on his way moving to Atlanta, GA with his family for good. But in the midst of him moving, an unexpected situation occurred. Tanya became pregnant with their 1st child – Shoneace Capers. After the birth of our 1st daughter, Steve and Tanya moved together and began their family. In the winter of December 1995, our 2nd child – Steven Jr., was born.On February 1, 1998 Steve gave his life to Christ. Tanya – his soon to be wife shortly followed after. On March 1, 1998 Tanya gave her life to Christ. They both were filled with the Holy Spirit within 6 weeks of starting their new life with Christ.After several months of separation (a transitional period before the wedding) Steve and Tanya were baptized on August 12, 1998 and then married on August 15, 1998 by our parents in the Gospel: Bishop-Elect Austin McFarlin Sr., and 1st Lady, Elder Renee McFarlin.In the hot summer of July 2002, our 3rd child, Isaiah Capers was born. At this time, we decided to move into a larger home. We moved from Ansonia to New Haven. After 3 years of renting in New Haven, we were blessed enough to move into "our" own 2 family home where we now reside.On April 22, 2007 we both accepted the call of ministry on our lives, and preached our Initial Sermon together…..”Lust – get rid of it before it kills you” and “Drop it like its Hot”……and both became licensed Ministers of the Gospel.Currently, we walk with our Man and Woman of God in ministry as their armourbearer and adjutant at the Anointed Tabernacle Ministries located in Hamden, CT.We strongly believe – This is the Lords doing……and it is Marvelous in Our Eyes!!!
