today is a beautiful day. for no other reason than the fact that we're both alive! ya dig? :) (oh and summer is well alive for you and i)
here's an update...
so, up until now i've only recorded some random demos here and there when i had the chance. well, since i started this thing i've changed a lot through out the years..esp lately! and with that chance i feel like God has given me the grace to record my first real EP and that is what i wish to do this summer. i'm turning 25 on 19 june and i'm seriously not getting any younger so i'm saying what the hell...why wait? this is something i've wanted to do for sometime now but i don't think i've been ready. God has allowed me not to record this for many years now. thankfully. but now He's telling me to do this and do this i will :)
i'll write more later when it all becomes more concrete. till then...love other and love yourself!

Hello lovers! Thanks so much for stoping by. A new track has been added: "Chasing The Sun" from the forthcoming album, "Lights Won't Go Out" from my band The Red Velvet. The album (our first LP) hits the streets May 3. A release show is happening in our hometown @ the V Club. If you're around, I'd love to hang out. (Much love to my taletned band mates!!)

Once upon a time there was a day when music was pretty. There was a day when music was honest. There was a day when the artist wrote from his heart, writing only from what he knew, had experienced and from what he felt deep inside, not what he believed would become a hit with the popular music market.
Today, as we begin to ask ourselves... "Is good music dead?" ...we see that there are still a few artist who remain true to the passion of "good, honest, original, melodic music." Now, I cannot guarantee that my songs will be the best you've ever heard. I can't say that my voice is the most amazing, either. But what I can promise you is that every note, every word, every thought and idea, comes straight from my heart - and it all comes with one purpose: to communicate true love through music to the world around me.
You see, I write in what I know - and what I know is love, peace, beauty and yes, sadness and pain. So for those of you working hard to keep up with whats "hot and hip", you might want to forget about me. But for those few lonely, loving souls looking for a little musical purity and honesty, in a world where mtv decides whats "cool", where a cover song can become number one faster than dawn has time to begin her transformation into dusk, where music has become more noise than notes, than this just might be for you.
