"Rubberwilli" was born in Indiana and now resides in Chicago, Illinois where has been a fundraising professional, working with educational, arts and healthcare related organizations. Currently he is a property management specialist.
He attended Indiana University and was a founding member of HEADSPACE, an organization for Indiana University students interested in exploring safe, sane and consensual BDSM play. While at Indiana he was also involved in Lascivious Exhibitions, a group of individuals who threw annual fetish events in the Bloomington, Indiana area. It was at an LE event that he was first introduced to liquid latex, and his rubber adventure began.
After watching the Mr. International Rubber contest for 2 years, he entered and won the title of MIR2003. In 2004 he worked behind the scenes to learn the workings of the contest better and in 2005 he took on the role of Weekend Coordinator for the Mr. International Rubber Contest and Rubber Blowout Weekend. In that capacity he oversees all aspects of the annual fetish weekend weekend and works closely with the contest owner Frank Blondale in an effort to help grow the contest for the 10th Anniversary edition of MIR.
Rubberwilli is a frequent international traveler, and has provided behind the scenes logistical support to many of the rubber fetish clubs hoping to launch fetish contests. He is the organizer of the Strict Rubber Dress Code parties at MIR and IML, and co-host of the Worldsites.com gathering at IML in 2004 and 2005. He serves as as one of three "rubber ambassadors" to the United States, sharing information about American rubber events with members of the well known European rubber club, Rubclub. Additionally, he has appeared in several Rubbermen.com fetish videos and is a frequent contributor to their worldwide fetish website RubberZone.com.
Most recently, Rubberwilli joined the team of the Chicago Leather Kennel Club, a local organization dedicated to assisting individual men and women in the their pursuit of local, regional, national and international fetish titles. he currently serves as the Vice President of the CLKC.
He has judged numerous contests, including five inaugural rubber contests:
