Going back to the roots of Rockabilly, Sharp Al can recall influences such as Johnny Burnette, Johnny Cash, Gene Vincent and many more who gave him the inspiration to compose his own band. "I went out in search of my very own Carl Perkins, Marshall Grant, and Dickie Harrell because I knew exactly what kind of sound I wanted to create". That eventually led to the formation of Sharp Al & The Two Tone Three in the Summer of ‘07. They had begun to work right away with a handful of original songs and heads full of inspiration. Concerning their direction, lead singer, Sharp Al said, "It was just how I had imagined it, the songs I had been writing were finally coming alive with the band".
The band is currently making sure the Rockabilly scene stays alive by booking on the weekends. So keep your fingers crossed and ears open and let’s hope many doors open for these boys'! Woohoo! Rock on Sharp Al & the Two Tone Three!
