the countdown has begun

About Me

Yeah the countdown has begun. Unlike Donny Darko, the world is NOT about to end. I am almost on my way to Japan and Croatia. I figured since I was going to Japan, I may as well stop off in Croatia. Right?

I prefer tea to coffee. I don't drink coffee. We have over 12 varieties that we drink at work. Did I mention I was a tea snob?

Music is important to me. when I listen to it, I listen to the details. It has to have a groove. Somewhere deep down. I play the upright bass and congas. I'd like to play congas in a latin band. I sometimes put lots of effects on my upright.

I have an idea for a new catagory in the profile: top 3 wishes.

Here are mine:
1. I wish I had cool hair. (I suppose I do have cool hair, but the grass is always greener right?)
2. I wish Jon Stewart would run for president
3. I wish we had a good choice.

I'm lucky that I like my job. I make cool toys for work and get to travel some. I like to travel and I speak a few languages. I wish IKEA was opening up in my town. I like eating well and cooking. I'd cook for you if you cook for me. What about hot pepper?

I like to get outside when I can. I dive in the summer and snowboard in the winter. Sometimes I even pretent that I hike but I've only climbed inside. I'm a rock wimp I guess. This weekend I'm not off to NH to go camping again. But I think we can weather the cold and the rain. Mostly I want to try out my new super duper warm sleeping bag. I only bought it because it looked cool. It's important to have a good looking sleeping bag. Even if you are shivering it is important to look good, right? I have moppy hair.

I only know 3 words in japonese, but I know a lot more in some other languages. I don't know any croatian.

I don't own a single photo album, but I do like to take pictures. I wish I was good at photography.

Oh yeah, I'm trying to take over the world. I'm one of the good matt's

P.S. Those aren't really my TOP 3 choices.
