Hello myspace world, my name is Shanay. So yeah im going to write my own bio. I'm 18, born and raised in Maryland, and later relocated to Charlotte North Carolina when i was 15. Singing,music, and modeling has been a part of my life since the age of 7,whether it was in church or in the bathtube with my mom[as a child of course ppl], singing has always been a talent of mine. I also played the flute for 3 years at Hyattsville Middle School of Performing Arts. I didnt realize the importance of writing music until i was 15, and i've been writing ever since. I've tried out for American Idol,...but sadly i didnt make it b/c they just werent looking for young talent this year. But I definately didnt let that stop me. I tried out for "gimme the mike Charlotte" which is a singin competition that airs on the 29th of June, and I was in the top 24!! amongst the hundreds of people who tried out. I've sung the National Anthem at one at my high school basketball games, and i've sung in the South Meck 1st and 2nd Anual Variety Show. I am also an NYC Finalist, check out my portfolio at and was chosen by Dwight Abnor to participate in the modeling EXPO, which was by far the BEST experience. I love being in front of the camera, and i think i am the most sweetest, dramatic,random,outgoing person anyone could ever meet!!.please look out for more of me and lana music of our own is on the way. patience is a virtue tootlesme and my singing partner lana me!
