Pimp My ProfileMa'at Ma'at- which literally means "truth"- is the goddess of that and justice and order. She represents the physical and social laws of Egypt. Her symbols are the feather and the primordial mound (symbolizing order emerging from disorder). She is pictured as a woman with wings wearing a feather headress or with a feather as a head(?!). She is the self-created wife of Thoth and one creation myth tells that she bears 8 children that create the world. Ma'at's feather is used in the "Weighing of the Heart Ceremony" where the weight of the feather is measured against the weight of the heart of the deceased.
