I am a place struggling against the grinding wheel of progress all the while grasping the hands of all it's vices. Within me legends abound and reality is often confused with myth. Darkness breathes and sadness takes on a life of its own in my shrinking woods and crumbling buildings. Shards of hope lie like broken glass on my forest floors and blacktop streets, broken , yet still glittering in the rays of the sun. Good and evil are real and both exist inside the city limits . True enough the scale is a bit unbalanced but tell me what town doesn't have its share of darkness. I am Darby.
