This young and talented boy was born at Kalafong hospital (Atteridgeville - Pretoria). He was given the name Clement Phaswane. In the late 1990..s he was moved to Soshanguve to stay with his family namely: Sam Phaswane (The Father), Paulina Phaswane (The Mother) & Oscar Phaswane (The Brother). He started his educational tour at Leratong Crèche, then moved to Dithabaneng Primary School, then moved to Boepathutse Secondary School and went to Holy Trinity High School to complete his matric.Clement started listening to house music from the early 90's. His love for house music started when he was at school during social functions when DJ..s came to play their deepest tunes back then. He was in high school “grade 9†when everything started. He then started buying 12" Vinyl’s with his savings for the love of music. He started as a bedroom DJ teaching himself the wheels of steel “turntablesâ€. His stage name was DJ Soul Child back then before it was changed to DJ Trance. He then realized that there are too many DJ Trance..s then he changed his name to Trancemicsoul.In 2002 he started taking his passion seriously and he started to play at parties & some of his school gigs for free. In 2003 during his grade 11 his parents bought a personal computer for his brother then he decided to dick a little deeper. He collected some of the music production software’s and started to produce his own material. He didn't know much about production tips and some sound knowledge so after high school he went to study Sound Engineering at Allenby in Centurion. He studied for a year then moved to Johannesburg to finish his course at Academy of Sound Engineering in Auckland Park.It was in 2007 when he arrived in Johannesburg, he didn..t know a thing about the place so all he did was locking himself in the bedroom and producing some music. “At first u know u will do crap music but with trial and error nothing goes wrongâ€... says Trancemicsoul. His production skills got tighter each and everyday, because he was inspired by other music producers that he saw inside the SABC building and nature. Late 2007 he started to know other underground producers. As time goes by he met the Blackwhole Crew, CWB, Miggs & the Phezulu Crew to name a few. That’s where the game began to be more interesting, he pushed himself to the boundaries of music, so deep that most of the people were becoming lost when he plays or produce.In 2008 during the South African Music Conference after party 1 of his tracks (Oscillator) was played by Rocco @ Zambezi lounge and that is where he got the big break. He was lucky to grab a deal with Fountain Music (Japan) & Abicah Soul Recordings (Chicago). There are too many labels that his currently working with. He mostly produce & play deep house, soul, minimal afrobeat & lounge tunes. In life follow your passion.{}
