In 2000, Demetrius Smith was a professional model and semi-professional basketball player with a promising future. Within a matter of months, he incurred a severe knee injury along with a prolonged ankle injury. He later found himself living out of his car, jobless, homeless, and penniless. Moved by the storms of discouragement and uncertainty, he clung white-knuckled onto the stability of God, who gave him a mission: provide the tools and information necessary to break down the barriers that separate mankind from loving, cherishing, and worshipping with one another.Demetrius was soon led to the first facet of his mission: penning and publishing his first book, Wealthy in a Poverty Estate. It is his hope to see people from all nations, cultures, and walks of life re-form and re-unite.With a lot more stored inside this young creation, Smith is re-evolving. He's back in acting, modeling, and creating films - with a new perspective, a new focus, and a much richer passion. Demetrius has a B.F.A. in Communications Marketing/Management.
