So I did make it to Kathmandu... the strikes and riots ended the day before I got to the border. It was strangely quiet there, but there were a lot of guns ...

Alright -- I finally made it to Lhasa (arrived a few hours ago) hanging out in my favorite internet cafe in Tibet -- except the monks won't give up the computers with the webcams.... Everything is lov...

Ok --this has got to be quick... just to update, I've started traveling (two days ago) and I'm in Xian Xian right now (saw the terra-cotta warriors here...) , and about to hop on anoth...
