About Me

“What will Gene Lee do next?” That is the question asked by the club goers that fill Gene Lee’s dance floors. His versatility on the decks has made him a favorite among house aficionados throughout the electronic music community. Whether he is rocking a large show with his nouveau-electro sound, or massaging deep basslines into a small intimate crowd; one thing is consistent every time, Gene Lee’s performances deliver. His endless energy on stage leaves crowds staying until the end and wanting more.As a Producer, Gene maintains a very busy schedule. Not limited by genre, Gene’s eclectic taste in music has given him the ability to work with a wide variety of artists from many genres. His collaborations with artists include, The Lost Boys, Sean Majors, Donald Glaude, Carlos Mendoza of LCG, The Trucks, Brian Marshall, Wesley Holmes, Marty Mar and Sir Kutz to name a few.After spending endless hours in the studio with long time friend, Sean Majors, the two decided to create the record label, Pound Music as a way to output their studio creations. After launching at the beginning of 2007, Pound Music has maintained a steady schedule of releases. By consistently infiltrating playlists and topping the charts of some of the worlds most renowned DJs, Pound Music has made its mark on the global dance music community.2008 is shaping up to be a huge year for Gene. Alongside Seattle’s own Drum & Bass / Dubstep legend Zacharia, Sean Majors and Gene Lee have teamed up to create a new record label, Futuredisco. Futuredisco is a label that is dedicated to pushing musical boundaries and operates with innovation being one of their prime directives. Stay tuned in 2008 for a plethora of releases spanning many musical genres.
