UPDATED: 10:47 pm EDT October 23, 2008CINCINNATI -- A teenager was killed Thursday night when he was struck downtown by a bus.The victim, whose name was not released, was struck by a TANK bus near the intersection of Sixth and Vine streets.Witnesses said traffic the teen tried to cross Sixth Street in front of traffic stopped at the Vine Street stoplight, but the light turned green as he darted from the curb.The bus had slowed down as it approached the stoplight but did not come to a complete stop before the light turned green, witnesses said.The teen was struck and pulled under the bus, witnesses said."I've just never seen anything like that before," witness Tearra Wallace said. "He's so young."Witnesses clung to each other trying to come to grips with what just happened.Wallace said the victim was dragged by the bus."By the time the bus tried to brake it's like it was already too late, because as they were braking, his body was already being pulled up under there," witness Sylvia Pratcher said. "And all you heard was him scream. That's all you heard."Investigators said they studied every angle and questioned the driver.As passers by stopped and stared at the gruesome scene, opinions varied as to who was at fault. But everyone said they were stunned by how it all ended."To see somebody dying in front of me, it's crazy," Pratcher said.No other injuries were reported.No additional information was released about the incident, which remains under investigation...
