Born in Cagliari (Sardinia, Italy) at the beginning of the end of '70s, needed few years to realize my strong addiction to music. When I was a child, my father introduced to me The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix, putting a kind of beautiful spell on me...
Started playing classical guitar at twelve, here began my trip.
I left my country in 2002 to go to Firenze, where I spent five years studying electric and acoustic-fingerstyle guitar, musical theory and arrangement at Lizard Music Academy. Here I met great teachers and musicians, studied with Lorenzo Galante, Valerio Brachi, Davide Mastrangelo (really a genious!!) and Giovanni Unterberger. Then I spent a year in Barcelona (Spain), studying Funky-Jazz guitar and Musical Language at Taller De Musics, with Riqui Sabatès and Xevi Garcia. And now, I' m back to Sardinia !!!
Trying to play as best as possible, enjoying all the good people I'm meeting.In all these years I joined many bands,playing different kinds of music, from heavy metal to gospel. But two of that multitude really astonished me...
Nativity In Black (N.I.B.) and Alfasud.N.I.B. were born in 1999 and still playing, a group of good friends loving Black Sabbath so much... In fact, the most kicking ass Black Sabbath Cover Band !!!
All the members are strong ,experienced musicians who came from different musical styles. At first we were friends , born and brought up together in Cagliari, livin' to play. Our friendship became stronger through the years, as our musical experience grew.Now we all live in different states, but still continuing to play, usually in summertime, when we all came back to Sardinia.Alfasud is a funky-Jazz instrumental band from Firenze. Four really creative boys ! I play with them during one year and half, together we recorded a promo cd (PsychoFunkyBossaTrip) in summer 2006 and recorded some radio live shows, with the collaboration of a female singer. The greatest experience I' ve ever had playing self-composed music!!!During my "Spanish Experience", I played with Nasty Army and Angel De La Paz.
Nasty Army is an incredible Hard Rock band, lead by Mr. Johnny B. Nasty, pure Rock' n' Roll power !!! The band released three albums during its carreer, a lot of live shows and interviews for magazines. Unfortunately, my experience with the band hasn' t been long enough to release a record. We just put down some arrangements for the new album... God only knows what will happen to this project.Angel De La Paz is a Melodic Rock Band, a good experience of composing and arranging...And gettin' high !!!
