I've been putzing around with guitar since I was 13. Played in a couple of rock bands and even one punk band when I was young. With the resurgence of the blues in the late 80's I found my niche. Been a blues boy ever since. I started playing a Telecaster a few years back and got hooked. The tone and clarity caused me to totally rethink my style of playing. Pure clean true tone. I've recently got into slide guitar but my tele's action is a little low and I didn't want to mess with it so I got an old beater Strat copy with neck issues from a friend just to play around with. I jacked up the truss rod, the action and put on a set of Ernie Ball Not Even Slinkys. Well that sounded pretty cool I wasn't really satisfied with that. After seeing Boo Bradley and Brother Dege I new I had to have a resonator. Got one for Christmas. The same Jay Turser that Brother Dege plays. Wow another great sound. Bayou Backwater Blues from hell come out of this thing. Plugged into my Peavey Classic 30 this Resonator can be sweet as honey clean or mean as hell dirty. Keep the blues alive brothers and sisters.Other interests: Packer and Badger football, Nascar, anything outdoors.
