Troldhaugen

About Me

Troldhaugen formed in early 2008, when Meldengar and Reventüsk, unhappy with the state of the current local Black Metal Scene, decided to get back to their roots and rediscover the world of Scandinavian Folk Music.Troldhaugen set themselves apart from other Folk/Black Metal bands by incorporating the use of traditional folk instruments such as Celtic Harp, Piccolo, Flute, Mandolin, Bodhrán and Jew's Harp. Troldhaugen's Debut album "Lore of the Hallowed Grove" is set for an early 2009 release. To keep up to date and communicate with the band, be sure to check out the new Troldhaugen Forum!
