Jose Pez nace en Granada en 1977
Desde muy temprana edad presenta una clara obsesión por la música en general... compra su primer cassette con 12 años (THE CURE - "Desintegration")... y va moldeando su personalidad escuchando a artistas como RADIOHEAD, Depeche Mode o Death Cab For Cutie.
Con tan sólo 14 años aprende a tocar la guitarra y forma su primer grupo de música "SINDROMEPEZ" (1992-1995) componiendo letra y música de las canciones y tocando la guitarra eléctrica y el bajo además de ser el vocalista.
Después de casi 40 conciertos por diversas provincias y la grabación de 2 maquetas, son escogidos como "banda del mes" en un programa de maquetas de CanalSurRadio, aunque el grupo acaba separándose.
No tarda en formar un nuevo grupo llamado "PLANE" (1996-1999) con otros 2 amigos, donde también compone y escribe las letras (esta vez en inglés), toca el bajo eléctrico y es vocalista... consiguiendo esta vez una mayor profundidad musical y difusión entre fans.
La música electrónica llega a despertar su interés siendo ya parte de "PLANE", grupo en el que ya se notan esas influencias con la composición de melodías mediante sintetizadores, teclados y ritmos contundentes.
Compra sus primeros platos (PIONEER CDJ100) a su amigo el productor y dj Randy García (Magic Solutions) y se vuelca de lleno en su carrera como deejay fusionando tribal house, electro y progressive.
Ha sido residente y deejay invitado en varias salas entre las que destacan:

Since early age he shows a clear big interest about music in general... purchases his first cassette at the age of 12 (THE CURE - "Desintegration")... and grows up listening to the music of artists like RADIOHEAD, Depeche Mode or Death Cab For Cutie.
At the age of only 14 years he learns how to play guitar and he forms his first band "SINDROMEPEZ" (1992-1995) writing down the lyrics and playing electric guitar and the bass, being the singer as well.
After almost 40 concerts over Spanish provinces and the recording of 2 demos, the band is selected as “band of the month” by a CanalSurRadio programme, although the band finally broke.
It doesn’t take much time until he forms a new band called "PLANE" (1996-1999) with 2 friends more, where he also writes down the lyrics and the music (this time in English language); here he plays the electric bass and he’s also the singer... reaching this time a stronger musical depth and a wider spreading amongst fans.
Electronic music awakes his interest being already a member of his band "PLANE", where there are noticeable electronic influences in the composition of the melodies by synthesizers, keyboards and heavy rythms.
He purchases his first cd players (PIONEER CDJ100) to his friend, producer and deejay Randy García (Magic Solutions) and ever since then he don’t stop playing mixing tribal house, electro and progressive.
He has been playing as a resident and guest deejay at several halls from which it could be mentioned the following:
