The Chill Factors

About Me

The band is waiting on a drummer so if anyone knows one available please send them my way. As for me, (Chile) I have been playing music most of my life. Starting out on trumpet (yes Suzie Q thats why I can make the monkey lips so well) helped me develop my ear for melody and harmony. I decided to teach myself guitar and in the fall of the year before my 20th B-day I bought a Fender Mustang which I wish I still had. I played music across the states for over ten years before deciding to settle down and raise a family which is how I ended up back in MO. So much for married life.... I do have the greatest son (Noah) anyone could ask for. I have worked with many many great musicians here at Lake Of The Ozarks.Jamming with Johnny Johnson was an honor I will never forget. My main focus has been on writing and recording music. I have worked with Deuces Wild for a number of years now and will be doing some more of that this summer. I'll update as things change thru this year.

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Band members are pending, however Brenda Kaiser and Wayne Smith are probably on board when available.
Influences: Muddy Waters, Freddie King, B.B. King, Son House, Buddy Guy, S.R.V., Warren Haynes, Duene Alman, Dickie Betts, Steely Dan, Santana, Johnny and Edgar Winters, Clapton, Zepplin, Les Dudek, Tommy Bolin, Neil Schon, Eric Johnson, Larry Carlton, Denny Dias, Eliott Randall, Joe Walsh, and many others.
Sounds Like: I don't just write in one style so I guess it depends on the song. I have written songs from Steely Dan(ish) to childrens so it would be hard to say who I sound like. Some people have compared my voice to Clapton but that is a stretch.
Record Label: I prefer Campbell's but Libby's will do, oh wait.
Type of Label: Indie
