My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Not really looking to meet new people up in here. I don't add folks unless I actually know them. If you're some random dude from Oklahoma...don't be mad when I hit that Deny button. Outside of Myspace? I'd like to meet inspiring people, wiser than I who have something to teach me. Everyone has something to offer, even if the encounter lasts only for a minute, we just have to be open to the lesson. And this kid...

Music:

I appreciate music that I can relate to on both intellectual and emotional levels. I love the sound of real instruments, especially the drums. (I've always secretly wanted to be a drummer). I can appreciate all types of music from jazz to soul to hip hop to whatever as long as the music has something to say to me. I also love anything that inspires me to dance, but lately I've been a 90's junkie. Loving some Old School Aaliyah, D'Angelo, Blackstreet...you know the deal.

Movies:

Wow, so many of them!!! Fight Club, Snatch, Love Jones, Kill Bill 1 & 2, Reservoir Dogs, Knocked Up. I'll have to work on this list...

Television:

Heroes, Grey's Anatomy , Lost, Desperate Housewives, old school In Living Color (Ain't got ham, got spam. Pick it up!), South Park, Chappelle's Show, I finally jumped on the Entourage bandwagon. I want to be Ari Gold when I grow up.

Books:

I don't get to read as much as I would like. I love anything by Eric Jerome Dickey. He helps me escape when I need to. Right now I'm reading the Art of War, a Nicholas Sparks book and The Purpose Driven Life. Sometimes I like to pull out a horoscope book when I meet someone new, just out of curiosity. I find it interesting when those dog gone things are right, but I definitely don't live by them. And of course, the Bible.

Heroes:

Mom and Dad of course, sister Kathleen, Grandma, Liz Imperio for giving me the confidence to go to my first audition, my whole family, anyone who can sacrifice themselves for another
