Pride Fiesta is a Latin Queer Group dedicated to the networking of The Latin/Hispanic & Friends GLBT and Queer individuals in Australia, but most predominantly Sydney.
We are working towards the idea of having ongoing Queer Latin/Hispanic Parties & a Queer Latin/Hispanic float in the Mardi Gras parade in a couple of years time. It will be colourful, loud and out there, filled with Smooth Salsa dancing, Hot Reggeaton moves,Feverish Tango, Firey Flamenco, Booty Shaking Brazilian Beats, Sexy costumes & More!
The idea is to show people that we do not have to hide our sexuality just because of our culture. We understand that Latin America oppresses this lifestyle so this is our chance to speak out and say:
I'M QUEER, I'M LATIN, I'M PROUD!
