Hi! I'm Jimi Roades, drummer of Evolution Effect out of Boynton Beach, Florida. This by far is the one project in my musical career of which I am most proud to be a part!
Erik VanGrant and I met over 3 years ago; we've been inseparable and sometimes insufferable, some would say! We had a connection as friends which translated into the music.
Evolution Effect formed when we met Vic Riff, in late 2006. We had already taken the name of the band, but the missing ingredient was finally in the mix! Very quickly we began writing and recording new songs, and it all just fell into place! The first several were so emotionally charged we knew that we had something great. After about 6 months of writing and performing we discovered that others had seen the potential as well, so we decided to begin recording an album. Rob Roy and his partner Joe Buterra from Powerstation Records and Bongiovi Entertainment recorded our 10 song LP, which is soon to be released. Evolution Effect has recently been on South Florida radio programs and has done interviews on internet and international radio, as well.
