Passionate Pink!are a Voluntary Fund Raising Organisation who this year 2008-2009 are supporting registered charities Breakthrough Breast Cancer and Macmillan Cancer Support.Cancer affects the lives of thousands of vibrant, talented people and their families every minute of every day.Every year nearly 44,000 women and over 300 men in communities across the UK are diagnosed with Breast Cancer; it kills more than 35 women every day.Breast cancer is a disease that touches the lives of many. My life, the lives of the very many people and the lives of their families have been forever changed because of this disease, but we are fighters, we will not let cancer get the better of us, we have pledged to help wherever we can to find a cure and help people suffering from cancer.We have been inspired by the work of the two charities we have chosen to support this coming year.Breakthrough Breast Cancer & Macmillan Cancer Support carry out amazing work to help those suffering from cancer, Breakthrough with groundbreaking work in research and Macmillan helping on a day to day basis with those who have been diagnosed.We may not be the one to come up with the cure, but we want to play a part in helping Breakthrough & Macmillan achieve their aims.
