..FunkyGima was born on the 19.05.1981 as Emilio Mercadante. During his young years, he discovered the passion for records, therefore he decided to collect with 14 so many records as his pocket money permitted to Him. At the age of 15, he learnt many friends who were musically quite active some wrote texts other again instruments could play. FunkyGima found fast his hidden gift to write namely poems, texts, however, this was not to Him enough. In a few Time, he bought a DJ - Set, with which he learnt for the first time the Djing... In seinen jungen Jahren, entdeckte er die Leidenschaft für Schallplatten, somit beschloss er mit 14 so viele Schallplatten zu sammeln und kaufen, wie Ihm sein Taschengeld erlaubte.Im Alter von 15 jahren, lernte er viele Freunde, die musikalisch schon aktiv waren, einige schrieben Texte andere wiederum konnten Instrumente spielen. FunkyGima fand schnell seine versteckte Gabe, und zwar Gedichte, Texte zu schreiben, das war Ihm aber nicht genug. Im laufe der zeit legte er sich Plattenspieler und einen Mischpult zu, womit er erstmals das Djing lernte...1999 war es soweit, unter seinen damaligen Namen „ Il Professore „ ( der Professor ) legte er in einem Club auf, da aber genau an diesem Tag, der House DJ krank wurde, sollte Il Professore für Ihn Ersatz sein. Es gefiehl ihm so gut, das er von dem Tag an, sich nur auf House & Trance fixierte.Letztendlich im Dezember 2006 entschloss er sich, mit dem Djing erstmal aufzuhören und sich langsam dem Produzieren zu widmen.Funkygima, so sollte sein neuer Künstlername heißen. Er wird von Funky Great Italian Man Alive abgeleitet. Beim produzieren tut sich Funkygima es sehr schwer, eine Mischung aus Vocal, etwas Ambient und Electro Beats, sollte es sein. Nach vielen Tracks war es soweit, im Jahr 2007 fand in NordrheinWestfalen ein Remix Contest von den Fantastischen Vier statt, wo Funkygima teilnahm, seit dem Tag vollendete er seinen eigenen Stil „ quiet destroyer „Seine trockenen Drums, die direkten synths und plötzlich unerwarteten Breakes, zeichnen Ihn aus und machen jede seiner Tracks einzigartig und unverwechselbar!Mehr Infos
zu Kurzer ProzessFunkyGima è nato il 19/05/1981 in Germania, di Nome Emilio Mercadante. Nei suoi anni di Gioventú, lui ha scoperto la sua passione per il vinile, così ha deciso con 14 anni di raccogliere così tanti vinili, fin quando i suoi soldi li bastavano. All'età di 15 anni, ha incontrato molti amici che suonavano già attivi in un Gruppo di musicisti. FunkyGima rapidamente ha trovato il suo dono nascosto, scrivere poesie e dare delle idee particolare di Produrre musica!!! Durante il tempo lui si comprò dei giradischi e un mixer, con qui lui ha imparato per la prima volta il DJing. 1999 è stato, sotto il suo nome precedente "Il Professore", ha suonato in un club, ma proprio a quel giorno, il Dj di Casa era malato. Il professore deve sostituire per lui. E 'lui li piació così bene che da quel giorno, si è deciso di suonare solo per Musica House & Trance.
