LARUNE is a shapeshifter. A muse. A song source. Kamara Thomas telling stories... Being of the Bard and Bird Tribes, she writes songs everywhere she goes about everything she knows. These are the troubador-troupes with whom she travels:
***EARL GREYHOUND * www.earlgreyhound.com, www.myspace.com/earlgreyhound *
Rock, soul, some jazz fusion in there for good measure, and bales of banshee wailing. Kamara Thomas on bass, Matt Whyte on guitar, and Ricc Sheridan on drums! NEW ALBUM OUT VERY SOON! Listen to The Eyes of Cassandra above for a little taste!
***GHOST GAMBLERS * www.myspace.com/ghostgamblers *
Cosmic country ghost songs... If you're an old fan of Larune-the-band, then this is where you'll hear those songs now. Ghost Gamblers is one of the fruits of all labors of the long-time, too-many-people-to-count project Honky Tonk Happy Hour. We have a line-up of really great songwriters and singers, so you'll hear ghost stories, groovy pop and country grooves, a few awesome covers and lots of dreamy harmonies. Kamara Thomas on vox and acoustic git, Gordon Hartin on pedal steel, Amal Bouhabib on glorious vox, John Durgee on the kit, Jeff Malinowski on electric git and vox, Gabriel Berezin on bass and vox.
