The idea of recording jazz album 'Morning Glow' was started by jamming of father and son. All seven tunes of this album are composed by Esko "Upsi" Hartikainen who has been teaching the guitar in Kuopio and made various recordings as well as performed in jazz festivals during last three decades.
Esko's son Pasi Hartikainen is a music teacher and versatile musician. He composes and plays several instruments in various groups in Helsinki (Hart, Michael McDonald, Aleksi Ojala, Manner).
Jari "Kepa" Kettunen is the guest drummer on this album. Jari Kettunen plays drums in many groups and works as a drum teacher in Helsinki.
