Welcome everybody! This is my brand new MySpace-page. Thank you all for taking the time out to listen to my music. Hope you’re enjoying everything you see and hear so far. Let me introduce myself:
My name is Sebastian. I’m a 22-year-old musician and songwriter from the southwest of Germany and for as long as I can remember I’ve been making music.
Born to parents working as professional musicians in German orchestras, I started out playing the keys at age six. Not willingly at first, cause classical music wasn’t that popular among my friends at school :-( This is why I got more and more attracted to Hip-Hop-and RnB-music when I attended middle school. So finally I bought my first set of turntables and started out as a DJ. For the next years I produced my own mixtapes and tried to keep the dancefloors cooking.
At age 15 I decided to follow my father and to become a drummer. Influenced by my father’s Jazz-and-Swing-drumming, I discovered a whole new world of music. Inspired by legends of the Funk-and-Soul-era like James Brown, Earth, Wind & Fire or Tower of Power, I practiced hard to improve.
After these years of gaining experience of playing different instruments in different styles of music, I found what I believe is made for me: And that’s creating and producing my own songs. Starting out as a RnB-writer at age 19 I finally found my individual style of creating modern music and try to reach as many people as I can with my songs.
Right now, things really going well for me and I got the opportunity working together with a lot of great singers and musicians here in Germany. Since 2008, I’m also a member of the new RnB-liveband „Groovin’ Connection“ where I’m playing the keys. It means a lot to me, working together with such incredible musicans like ma homie Rich who’s a great drummer :-) I’m thankful for that and hope that music may be good to me, always.
