About Me

About me? Oh Lord, what a question to ask someone with limited time and patience. I have lived 21 years and each year I swear I forget a little more of it. I was born in Nebraska, grew up in Nebraska - moved a lot within Nebraska, but grew up within it all the same. I'm a born country girl moved to the suburbs to the city to the suburbs again. If you consider South Omaha "the city" that is. I've been through a lot of shit but had a lot of good times as well. I consider myself a nature lover, an optimist, a pessimest, a sadist, and very unlucky. I have a temper, I can be hyper, I am quite insane, and I can be a drama queen but I can also be a pretty good listener. I'm an artist and I love art so much I hope to turn it into a career - probably die trying, but hey...it's uh...yeah. dying could be fun. I love hockey. A lot. I love hockey players. A lot. I really wish I was one... Typically I'm short at 5 foot 3 but I've grown to love the height. It has it's advantages and disadvantages. :) I look rather young still, 18ish, but at 30 - I won't be sobbing like the rest of you poor bastards - no, I'll look 24 or something. My hair is naturally a dark brown but I like to dye it an auburn. Wow, did I really just disclose that? No, seriously...natural. The red is natural. My eyes are hazel and tend to be more gold at times in the evening, and green in the morning. I'm pale (oh the curse of the Irish blood) but I'm not bummed about it. I'm most comfortable in blue jeans, for they are my love and I will never get enough pairs - oh no, never never never. My style is laid back...and just...very mixed. Some days it's cute, some days it's dark, and some days I'm all natural. I am one with the squirrels. I don't know what else to say...I suppose I could be more interesting and scream how I'm sooooooo pretty and lik omg soooooo cute and flirty 4 u!! I like pink & ice cream and hot parties with all my firends but omg i hate my teachers so much i wish they'd go and die or something. Can't wait till I like grow up and shit. Gonna own the world. No, that's not me. I am Elizabeth.

My Interests

Art, writing, and basically anything creative. Hockey - ESPECIALLY UNO Mavericks hockey, plus the players are pretty damn interesting as well. Psychology and science. The moon, the night, the sky, the trees, the wind, the rain, the snow, the outdoors and all the feelings it gives you. Irony, hate, pain, love, insanity, and despair. The angelic, the unknown, the paranormal those cute squirrels in my backyard. Motorcycles and the guys that race them up and down west center road, music, bands, concerts, animals, zoos, wolves, ravens and the phoenix. Fire. Swords, manga, video games, Link, web comics, tattoos, blue jeans, bubble baths, thunder storms, salsa, bloody mary mix, and my home-made stew. Ireland, legends, interesting names, interesting people, my family, my friends, the animals, horses, the ocean, the hills, the fields, in my backyard lying with my face to the stars and rolling in the leaves. And just stuff. Stuff is good.

Rock/Alternative. Some musicals, Phantom of the Opera, My Fair Lady, the King and I. Some soundtracks, Wolf's Rain, Nightmare Before Christmas. Alanis Morissette, Incubus, No Doubt, Korn, Seether, Evanescence, Garbage, Switchfoot, Dashboard Confessional, NIN, Bright Eyes, Coldplay, Nirvana, A Perfect Circle, Fallout Boy, Hawthorne Heights, Disturbed, The White Stripes, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Faint, Pearl Jam to name a few. That's why I love my radio station - lot's of songs and lot's of great bands that I can't name off the top of my head. 89.7 The River

CSI: Las Vegas -- Grissom and Sara Sidel 3 aw so cute when morbid people sort of kindof fall in love and don't...really...do anything about it. What? It is. Fuck you. Adult Swim (Futurama, Family Guy, Harvey Birdman, Venture Bros.),South Park, Anime Network, Gilmore Girls, Ghost Hunters.

Books:

Harry Potter series to get the cliche out of the way. All Sherlock Holmes novels by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and even some short stories by people trying to continue the legacy. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series. Manga, assorted. One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, To Kill a Mocking Bird, Ethan Frome, A Midsummer Night's Dream (fine, not really a book - it's a play...but still), The Shrew (a play as well), Julie And the Wolves series,12 Little Indians, Still looking for more to read.
