THE CAUZE (R.I.P.)

About Me

The Cauze Story:The Cauze's powerful live show and energetic surf rock-reggae music style has captured much attention from a wide audience. The three piece hopes to get their self described "rat city reggae music" to a bigger audience and continue to build their fan base. In their nine years together The Cauze has played live with such acts as Pepper, Long Beach Short Bus, Josh Fischel of Bargain Music, Alien Ant Farm, The Expendables, Authority Zero, The Toasters, and Fishbone. After a self-funded five song demo in 2002 The Cauze signed to Seattle's independent label Serum Records and released their 1st full length "Rat City Music" in 2003. The Cauze then released the very polished full length "Make Use of What You've Got" in 2007 with XiL Records. The newest release is "New Education" (2009) a self funded effort displaying the energetic style developed over 9 years together. Rastas, surfers, and skaters alike: Look out, here comes The Cauze!
