Rik Dex has taken it a step further... For those who are unfamiliar, Dex was born and raised in Staten Island, N.Y.. He released his debut Hip-Hop Cd in Mar. of '04. At that time, he was a signed artist to 98 Proof Recordings based in Neptune, N.J.. D.j. Piklz, who is the label founder, CEO, and a very talented producer, was the one who gave Dex a chance and the results were nothing short of successful. With a passion for hardcore hip-hop, Rik peacefully departed with 98 proof on a mission to accomplish his own goals. A long time friend of Rik's had began to try his luck at making beats and, now, 2 yrs later has an arsenal of instrumentals diverse enough to please a wide variety of hip-hop heads. Currently, Lee Malvo and Rik Dex are in the midst of dropping Dex's sophmore effort with production mainly by Malvo.. D.j. Piklz will also be lacing 2 or 3 tracks and expect to hear a couple of other big surprise names in the line-up.. There will be much more to come.. Rik Dex's second Lp will be titled "Unbreakable, Bravehearted" in the loving name of his late sister. Dex and Malvo intend to collaborate with a large number of highly respected underground heads. They also intend to begin recording as a team in the near future shortly after Rik's second album drops..
