I am here for Friends

About Me

I am a teacher. A student. An artist. Poet. For fun, I write down funny things that I hear people say (and often post them in a blog).Just started a Masters program in History at SF State... re-adjusting myself to the scholarly life...I'm Canadian and of East Indian origin but consider California my home. I've lived in Italy and in France... I sometimes say "o là là" when I'm surprised and you might hear me mutter "dai" (or worse) when I'm annoyed. I can't stand being away from Mexican cusine for too long and don't feel at home unless I have some garam masala in my kitchen. And if you're not careful I'll probably get you to watch a Hindi film :)To say I love traveling and experiencing different cultures is an understatement. I'm always up for a new adventure. I have visited India, Egypt, Spain, Denmark, England and Hungary. Next on my list are Ireland, Greece, South America and Mexico.I adore the arts -- music, poetry, visual art, dance, performing art -- and believe life would be empty without this. I encourage anyone who has a desire to express themselves creatively. I believe that anything's possible and that you are the only limit to what you can do.I mostly use MySpace to keep in touch with the friends I already have, but I have met some nice people on MySpace and have enjoyed pleasant exchanges, so if you think we'd have something to talk about please feel free to message me. I love meeting new people.Feel free to check out my personal website: www.imaginationknowledge.com
