Producer: Pete Maggi at Blue Star Movies (Merchant of Venice, Head in the Clouds)
Synopsis: A film about a woman who has lost herself in her family and must reconnect with the dancer within to be happy with the life she has created for herself.
The film premiered at the Provincetown International Film Festival in June '09. Upcoming screenings include the Woods HOle Film Festival and the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival, both in July '09.

Synopsis: 10 minute slice of life short between a girl and her mother with Alzheimer's called "MOM."
Film has played festivals including the DC Independent and now has educational distribution through INTERMEDIA INC.
THE TOUCH (2007) Produced, Written, Directed, Edited
Synopsis: An 8 minute short film set in 1908 and based on a true story of Renee Viven, a well-known poet and a letter writing romance she had with Kerime Turkhan Pasha, a married Islamic woman.
The film is fiscally sponsored by WOMEN MAKE MOVIES , and the Arch and Bruce Brown Foundation. It has played over 28 film festivals and counting, won Best Dramatic Short at the Ft. Worth Gay and Lesbian Film Festival June '08! and aired on HERE Network in the fall of '08.It will be available for purchase through myspace and the website shortly

Synopsis: A family must find their way back to the love that binds them when the patriarch has a debilitating stroke.
The film has played in 16 festivals, earned 2 awards, was nominated 4 times for best short film and is distributed by BIG FILM SHORTS .

Shooting begins July 6 on "METH HEAD." A story of one man's journey into the hell of Meth addiction. METH HEAD We are currently looking for investors for the $500,000 US budget, and are selling units totaled at $10,000.00 a unit. Escaping a disastrous affair, Jessy joins her sister Vicky and Great Aunt Helen in an ancestral home. Despite Auntie's warnings, the girls unlock a bedroom, sealed for 70 years, and free a ghost who sets his sights on Jessy. Jessy begins to have feelings for the ghost, and the sisters turn to Aunt Helen for answers to his death. Prying the mystery from Auntie's mind reveals a tale of jealousy and revenge the sisters will never forget. In the end, Jessy realizes her love for her ghost is true, but to live happily ever after, she must engineer her own death

SLATE AND KELLY
Slate&Kelly is a fun romp with two Police Academy rejects who develop an unusual partnership in order to find the person responsible for a string of serial murders of drag queens in Weho. It’s her brawn to his brains -- her real world savvy to his cyber brilliance. Slate&Kelly are novice, gay private investigators who combine their quirky talents and manage… somehow… to solve the mystery and in the process find friendship with each other.
<JANE CLARK (producer, writer, director)
Jane's latest short, "Beyond Words," is her first director for hire job. She wrote the script based on a pitched treatment, directed the film and took the project through editing. The film was shot in NYC on the RED camera. The film just premiered at the Provincetown International Film Festival. Soon to be seen at the Woods Hole Film Festival and the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival in July.
Her fourth short film, "The Touch," is based the true story of Renee Vivien, a celebrated lesbian poet and her romance with Kerime Turkhan Pasha, a married Islamic woman. The film is fiscally sponsored by Women Make Movies, received the Panasonic Digital Filmmaker Grant and a cash grant from the Arch and Bruce Brown Foundation of Palm Springs California.
Jane's third short film, "Carrie's Choice," is a narrative about a girl who becomes pregnant and must make a difficult decision. The project is fiscally sponsored by Women Making Movies (www.wmm.com), was awarded the Panasonic Digital Filmmaker's Grand Prize for 2005 and was supported in-kind by Planned Parenthood - LA.
Jane began her career as an actress in independent films and on television shows such as “Chicago Hope.” In 2002, she directed and produced her first short film, “Dog Gone,” and followed with 2004’s award-winning “A Host of Daffodils,” and 2005's “Carrie’s Choice.”. The second two scripts were also written by Jane.
Jane has spoken on a number of panels covering film production, fundraising, marketing and distribution, most recently addressing the topic of filmmakers and social change. She is currently writing a book on making short films from Idea through Distribution, and is also a board memeber and programmer for the Woods Hole Film Festival in Cape Cod, Massachussets.
