About Me

Hello everyone! My name is David Nonini and welcome to my MySpace music page. The purpose of this page is to share my music with you the listener, and I hope that you will enjoy it and pass it along to others.I am a solo musician who writes, records, performs, and produces original songs to share with the world. I have just released my second collection of songs, titled "The Second Album", only ten months or so after the release of my first album, "Apparition". I play everything from guitar to bass to keyboard (including the string sections because I don't have access to an orchestra) to synthesized drums (played on a keyboard because I don't have the money for drum mics; plus, I have largely forgotten how to play drums well).I have been playing music for the past five years, and have started playing music seriously in the past two years. During those five years, I have written songs, some good, some bad, and some that will never see the light of day. I like the music of the 1960's, so I try and write music that harks back to that age. I also am a huge fan of the blues, which I have a strong passion for. I have included at least one blues track on each album, mostly instrumentals.Inspiration for my music comes from various places, whether it is a real life experience, an observation, or just something that popped into my head at that moment. More than anything, when I write my music, I hope to cause the listener to feel something. I feel that if the music doesn't get any reaction from the listener, then what's the point? Whether or not I have succeeded in that regard is up to the listener. So, since I have nothing else to say, I hope you enjoy the music and let me know what you think.Discography:Apparition (2008) The Second Album (2008) ..
