About Me

I've recently moved to Santa Barbara after spending the summer in East and Southern Africa with my husband. I had the time of my life and was touched by the African optimism I encountered. After graduating from UCLA and getting married, Bryan and I joined the Peace Corps and were sent to Jamaica. Living in Jamaica changed my perspective and shaped the way I view people and the world. Since returning to the U.S., I've continued my career in Environmental Education by working at local non-profit organizations and doing volunteer work. I now work at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History - Ty Warner Sea Center and am happy working in an aquarium on a pier all day! Bryan and I enjoy living in coastal California and spend our time SCUBA diving, surfing, going to UCLA football games, backpacking, sailboat racing, and planning our next adventure...
