THIS PAGE IS DEDICATED TO JAYSONGSTA!!!The time had came come, for his dreams to prosper. Jaroname Cockfield, born and raised in the state of South Carolina on Janurary 25, 1987. At an early age he found a talent, that everyone knew would take him very far in life...Singing. "Ron" as he was called by his Mother and Father, started trusting in his dream to become a star. Jaroname graduated from Lake City High School in 2005. Jaroname was a well-known student at LCHS. He was voted Sophomore Class President, Junior Class Frist-Vice President, Captain of the Class of 2005 Step-Team along with best friend Cara Singletary. He was also voted Mr. Lake City High along with Whitney Lawson (Ms. Lake City High). After graduation he went to futher his education at Spartanburg Methodist College, his expected graduating date with an Associate Degree in Psychology & Music Performance was May 2008. Throughout his life he peformed at various talent competitions, such as Arts In Our Schools for Florence Schools District Three, High School Talent Shows, the McDonald's Kids Talent Search, College Town Idol, and recently American Idol, as well as many other Local Talent events. Although he was turned down by the American Idol repesenatives, he won many of the contests which he participated in. He was named the Spartanburg Methodist College Idol in October of 2005, he advanced to the finals and was named the First-Runner-Up at College Town Idol. The Songsta, was on his way to the top, showing people all over the world what he is made of...MUSIC. Jay Songsta was working on his Demo Album @ Blue Moon Studios, under the founders Kathy Hyman & Gene August, who he respected dearly. In August of 2008, he was to continue to further his education at Francis Marion University or U.S.C. Columbia, to obtain his Bachelor’s Degree. Afterwards he was going to continue along to receive his Master’s Degree as well. He held great plans and had a promising future “Jay Songsta†is a name in the Spotlights!Jay Songsta would like to thank those of you who are with him and against him.
