A continuacion... una breve descripcion de como llegamos a todo esto
JUST US surge como movil de un proyecto de banda para trabajar en fiestas y eventos el 22 de Diciembre de 2006. Se llevo a cabo una convocatoria de musicos interesados en el estilo y repertorio a trabajar para comenzar con ensayos ya para 2007. En Febrero de ese año, la banda se conformo provisoriamente con 5 integrantes fijos desempeñando roles de guitarrista, bajista, baterista, saxofonista y cantante respectivamente. No conformes con los encasillamientos, sus ideadores originales vislumbraron la posibilidad de realizar un show para mostrarle a su publico un poco de este material que ya estaba sonando de forma privada.La presentacion al publico en el teatro "Inmaculada Concepcion" llego a mediados de junio con gran aceptacion por parte de los presentes. Por divergencias en cuestiones musicales e intereses profesionales, casi dos meses despues, la banda (de gran sonido para ese entonces) despidio con gran afecto a dos de sus musicos originales, quienes demostraron no estar interesados en el proyecto ya que era "demasiado chato para sus talentos". En medio de la confusion, la musica no se vio afectada y la banda sono mejor que nunca, momento en el cual llega quien determinaria su actual formacion de cuarteto, Matias Teran (Baterista).
Actualmente, este 2008 nos halla trabajando en eventos privados, empresariales, fiestas y casamientos (techados y al aire libre). Paralelamente en proceso de dar forma a los temas que seran piezas clave de nuestro primer disco a estrenarse dentro de poco.
El miercoles 30 de Abril nos presentamos para 1000 personas en la Sala Borges de la Feria del Libro, las cuales recibieron parte de nuestro repertorio original de forma intensa.
El martes 13 de mayo nos presentamos en The Cavern Club Buenos Aires para la fecha de preseleccion del concurso de bandas beatle tocando versiones de los siguientes temas: You cant do that, Cant buy me love, Hallelujah! I just love her so, Drive my car, Yer Blues, The Word. LA BANDA CLASIFICO A SEMIFINALES DEL CERTAMEN Y BUSCARA UN LUGAR EN LA FINAL POR EL VIAJE A LIVERPOOL EN EL MES DE OCTUBRE.

A brief descrition of our way here...
On December 22nd 2006 JUST US was created as a band to play at parties and private events. Therefore, we carried out open auditions in order to select talented musicians who might be interested in the kind of sound that would identify the band . In February 2007 we started rehearsals after casting five members who would become the original lead singer, guitarist ,bass, saxophone and drummer . Willing to go for a new challenge, we decided it was time we put up a show to play our material to a live audience.Thus, in June 2007 we offered a live performance at Teatro Inmaculada Concepción which was enthusiastically received by our fans. However, as a result of musical and professional disagreements, the band let go of two of their founding members who no longer felt identified with the project, which they considered to be “too flat for their expectationsâ€. In spite of the initial commotion ,our music got better and better and it was at this time when MatÃas Teran, our present drummer, joined the band. And then… there were four.
At present , we are playing at private and corporate events as well as in all sorts of parties both indoors and outdoors. Furthermore, the band is working on the material for their first CD to be launched soon
On April 30th JUST US played at Sala Borges in Feria del Libro for an audience of over 1000 people who embraced our original material. .
Last but not least, on May 13th we took part of the contest for the pre selection of Beatle Bands at the Cavern Club, Buenos Aires. After playing “You Can’t Do Thatâ€, “Can’t Buy Me Loveâ€, Hallelujah!†“I Love Her Soâ€, “Drive My Carâ€, “Yer Blues†and “The Word†, THE BAND MADE IT TO THE SEMIFINALS AND IS CERTAINLY LOOKING FOR A PLACE IN THE FINALS TO WIN THE TRIP TO LIVERPOOL IN OCTOBER.
