YaaMeen a.k.a YounG BoneZ but I was named
Derreck-Devonte-Walker, an was born July 16,1992
I, Mr.YaaMeen or(Derreck)was raised in BOSTON, MASS with my mother
(Cassandra Walker)and mostly with my father(Neil Nunez).
Growing up in the streets of Boston, wasn't what you would call A Big Playground,
some days was hard 4 me and some days was good.
I fell in love with the sound of music
at the age of 6..&& at that time I was influenced by the rappers
Lil Bow Wow, Romeo, Lil Cory, Nelly, Ludachris, and Cash Money..
The only ones I ever listened too...
At the age of 9..I went on an dropped half of the
artist that I enjoyed but kept three that I knew
was gonna change my life.. Lil Bow Wow, Romeo, and Lil Cory.
Still at the age of nine, I wanted 2 start writing music
and be just like the rappers I loved,
but I really didn't know how to go about it,
so I turned away from wanting to be a rapper
an focused on school to be a lawyer.
At the age of 12..I started makin music agin
an came to realize I wasn't that good,
so I worked on it for 2 years straight,
an as the years went by I got better an better.
At the start of 7th grade, My passion for music
got deeper an more stronger an then I decided I wasn't
putting anything before my music..
In the same time I had came across a kid name
Kareem better known as Screwge. Me and Screwge both had a passion
for music but mines was a bit stronger.
Me && Screwge became best friend's and studied
the arts of music together.
I was more of a "I WANNA PLEASE THE LADIES" type of kid,
wile on the other had Screwge was more of a "GO HARD OR GO HOME"
type of kid, even tho we had different styles it was all good,
cause two of the same styles wasn't what people was looking for,
so it was good that we were different.
By the time my 15th birthday came,
I was so deep into my music book nothing could stop me,
and I mean nothing was stopping this me from bein where
I wanted 2 be an that was famous.
I didnt pay no mind to much of anything any more,
soon enough I was on myspace doing my thing.
My first song went through my whole school "UM PAID",
an all i can tell you is "THEY LOVED IT".
From there on I continued making tracks && didn't let
anyone or anything get in my way.
HOW????You ask!!!! I focused on one thing and that
was making my mother and family proud..
So till this day at the age of 16,
I'am still waiting for my chance to shine,
an I choose to keep waiting till that knock at the
door comes && me and my family is out the hood for good..
