About Me

I'm dying to get my hands on some bright yellow straight-leg pants. Sometimes I listen to 'bad' music, but it makes me smile and dance. I have a terrible filter between my brain and my mouth and sometimes say the dumbest stuff. I'm cold all the time, except when I'm in bed. Then I roast. I want to live someplace warm and mountainous, with zero children and many non-human animals. I have a disproportionate body. My butt and legs are really big and my head is small. I love making treats to share with other people. I take way too many photos. For me, an ideal day is spent outdoors. Preferably in wooded areas without many other people around. I absolutely love giving gifts. Randomly and often. I am really pale, but pale is better than cancerous. I tell my friends I love them all the time. Sometimes we even hold hands. This concerns my mother because people think I'm gay. I call people "sweetheart" and "dear" a lot. I don't even have to know them.

I'd like to meet:

Someone who will love me not in spite of, but because of the contents of my 'About Me.' If you see the appeal in ridiculous music like Junior Senior, we will probably make great friends.

Music:

I listen to all sorts. Sometimes I like something mellow. Sometimes I like something fun. Sometimes I like something hard. It really depends on my mood. What I don't listen to (mostly): Rap/hip-hop, R&B, Country. If I could make sweet love to Jason Mraz's voice, I would.

Movies:

Hedwig and the Angry Inch, La Vita E Bella, Edward Scissorhands, Cry Baby, On the Edge, The Sandlot, Newsies, Little Miss Sunshine, Benny & Joon, Mermaids, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, SLC Punk!, Say Anything, Blow, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Purple Rain (awesomely bad), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, I 3 Huckabees, Bottle Rocket, The Little Rascals, etc.

Television:

I don't watch much TV, but when I do I like the National Geographic Channel, Discovery Channel, Science Channel, Animal Planet, and so forth. [NERD] I also love "Arrested Development" and I'm growing pretty fond of "Scrubs"!

Books:

I love reading. End of story.I'm currently reading "Age of Enlightenment" and "The Complete Sherlock Holmes."

Heroes:

"It's a crazy, fucked-up world and we're all just floating along, waiting for someone who can walk on water."

My Blog

If this werent so long I’d put it in my Facebook Quotes.

Man, I am a blogging fool today. Here's a bit of a conversation I just had with Matt N (Nachosauce). It's basically the story of our lives. mattnachosauce (11:26:34 PM): I am just so frustrated B...

Additionally,

It's 11/11. Does that mean I get to make wishes all day? Or does that apply only to the time?   It doesn't matter. I don't make wishes anyway.

Thoughts of a dying atheist

I have something I feel like smiling about right now. Hopefully everything doesn't come crashing down around me. It always does though, so I suppose I shouldn't get my hopes up. I bought some apples a...

Pucker up and kiss the asphalt now.

So, I am 'taking a break' (i.e. procrastinating) from studying the Orders of mammals of the world. Well, not really since I have been off-and-on for the last few days. Not really intensely, though. I ...

I could never be ghetto fabulous.

Lip liner is hard to apply. I had never tried before today. As it stands now, I completely and utterly fail. I could use some lessons. Just in case I get stuck in the seedy part of L.A. sometime and n...

I hate when you have to open a new carton of soy milk...

Halfway through preparing your bowl of cereal. You don't get to do a fresh carton with a fresh bowl of cereal! You have to mix the old soy milk with the new soy milk. A new box of cereal + a new carto...

You know that song from Dirty Dancing?

Not the one we all associate with Dirty Dancing. The one that the staff members sing as the 'final farewell for the year' that Johnny, Baby, and the crew bust into their dance during? "Join hands and ...

Trail of Terror

So, Matt (Anderson) and I went to Trail of Terror tonight. It was LAME. The only time I was really scared was when a guy had a chainsaw on the hayride, but that's a given. I have a heart attack when I...
