Ever since I was a little girl I have had a passion for fashion!! I went to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, CA. While I was in school I was a stylist for Ralph Lauren on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. I worked with a lot of celebrities including Tom Cruise, Jessica Simpson & Beyonce. I loved my time and experiences in L.A. but decided to move home to Arizona when my dad was diagnosed with cancer.When I got back to Scottsdale I started a career with Neiman Marcus. I began on the sales floor and worked my way up with the company fast! First I was promoted to the Assistant Manager/Coordinator of Couture and then to the Public Relations Coordinator. I was with the company for 4 years and got to plan and be a part of a lot of amazing events, it was GREAT!On April 14, 2006 my dad's cancer caught up with him and he passed away. That day changed me forever! I started thinking about my career and realized that it was no longer the right path for me. As much as I loved the glamour and glitz of the fashion industry, I realized that life is too short, and that I wanted to make a difference. That's when I decided to go to work in the non-profit industry. I now work for the American Cancer Society doing fundraising and I LOVE IT! It is the most rewarding job I have ever had and I truly feel that I am making a difference EVERYDAY!
