Don't ya just love writing about yourself online? You've gota condense everything that makes you YOU into one small paragraph in a way that makes you seem interesting, different and as 'unaverage' as possible... Looks like I've got off to a good start - how many people start a profile like this?
Aaaanyway... About me, huh? ... Th' name's Ash, I'm studying at Staffordshire Uni (Stoke-On-Trent) at the mo - although I'm from a backwater hole by Birmingham (Burntwood, in case you've heard of it (doubt it though)).
'Case you cant tell from the pics - I'm a bit of a metal-head... 'N' that don't mean I've got a steel plated skull... ... as cool as that'd be...
A few bands I like: KoRn, Black Label Society, Slipknot, Stone Sour, Machine Head, Chimaira, Ill Nino, Dope, Dry Kill Logic, Metallica, Disturbed, Mushroomhead, Fear Factory, Manson, SOiL, Pantera (R.I.P. Dime'), Static-X, Drowning Pool... etc, etc... You can see where this list is goin'...
Speakin of bands - I'm in one... Called P R Y M 8 (http://www.prym8.co.uk)... I'm the 'Fieldy-wanna-be' bassist (I'm playing an Ibanez SR3005 and a custom paint-jobbed K5 at the mo') - We seem to be goin' in a KoRn / Machine Head mix-style-thing direction; if your'e interested, check us out! Wow, I didn't think I'd write this much... I'm almost like one of those people that annoy everyone by not getting to the point... You know the ones - they go on and on about nothing... Man, they annoy me... If I WAS one of those assholes, I'd probably have at least one paragraph bitching about something and how I could do so much better - wasting the readers time and my own... God, those type of people suck... Thank god I have some control and get to the point pretty fast - we could end up being here forever, otherwise. I mean, some people just annoy readers by having GIANT boring paragraphs about pointless shit that no-one cares about - if only they could take a leaf out of my book and only write about important, useful things...
Aside from being a sensible profile writer and bassist, I also enjoy drawing (mainly cartoons) - I'll have to upload some of my stuff when I get the chance. I'm a big cartoon fan (Simpsons, Family Guy, etc) - also like anime. Random, but: I'm a former pro' wrestler (sounds strange, but it's true). I'm also a big movie fan - 'specially horror flicks - (I take my horror movies like my nacos - extra cheese and coverd in that tastey red stuff... ... i.e. Evil Dead, Bad Taste, Braindead, anyone?). Would like to direct a film one day... I'd also like a fully working robot made out of beer cans and chocolate that coughs up money on command... but I'm not holding my breath...
When I'm famous I'll send you a photocopy of my autograph - you deserve it if you read this far. Message me and you might get a REAL one. Can you resist?! .... huh?... HUUUH?... ... [sits in silence looking hopefully at MSN messenger] ... ... .... ... ... ... ... Apparently you can...
