Create your own Friend Quiz hereI'm just a regular guy who just happens to love visiting and documenting historic sites as well as nature, sports, and anything else I find interesting. I just love photography and love to shoot anything,especially pretty Texas faces which aren't hard to find. Currently, I'm working on a nature and history portfolio. My new style can be classified as "historical art". I'm trying to get into more local and other shows. If you're interested in a shoot, let me know.I partake in living history exhibits and re-enactments. It's a lot of fun since I love history. I've been doing all of this with the Wild Horse Desert Historical Brigade, a bunch of great guys. The whole experience has helped my college teaching.Music's my other side which in turn has 2 sides of its own. One side is rock, the other is electronic. I play a 1991 Fender Stratocaster (American Made) through a Marshall JCM 900 half stack. Other goodies include an MP1 pre-amp and a Zoom effects processor. A Pro Co Rat gives me an extra edge and a vintage cry baby wah pedal makes jamming more fun. My style is just solid ROCK. I was influenced by Van Halen, Rush, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, etc. Of the contemporary bands, I really love Nickelback. I'd also like to add that I have added a Vox amp to my equipment list. It's a great amp. Nice clean tones that really compliment my Strat :-)
My first electronic instrument was a Sequential Circuits synthesizer that I still jam on once in a while. I was heavily influenced by DEVO, the Human League, Soft Cell, Kraftwerk, Erasure, etc.
I am still working on a musical project. It's all electronic. "Somewhere by One" will be out shortly.
I'm not on myspace to meet the love of my life or anything (unless you look like Keri Russell, Tiffany Dupont, or Alicia Witt). I, like most of my friends, just want to network, keep in touch with friends, and maybe make some new friends along the way.
