About Me

Dear Family and Friends,
Every year we participate in an event called Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society. It is an overnight event held in more than 25 countries around the world. Relay for Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated.
We became involved in this event in 2004 after losing my grandmother Dorothy Anne Sherman on August 4, 2003 at age 67 to Lymphoma. She battled the disease for 8 long years until she just couldn’t fight anymore.
You are all invited to join us in 2010 to Relay again. It is a community event where teams of people come out and take turns walking around a track that at night is illuminated with thousands of glowing bags, each bearing the name of a cancer survivor or someone lost to the disease. Relay offers special ceremonies for survivors and caregivers, and fun around-the-clock activities to keep participants busy.
If you have any questions, or would like to donate online to our team our website is: (Copy link)

Please leave a message or comment to get further information.
Luminaria Bags are a $5.00 donation.
