I love painting and drawing. It's what i'm in school for so i better like it..duh. I really love photography too. i take a lot of pics with my 35mm in my spare time. It helps inhance my perspective, which benefits my drawing ability. It's amazing how many different forms of art intertwine with each other.
feel free to enjoy my artwork slideshow below, though most of it is school work (it's all i got right now lol)

Now don't go and get the wrong idea. I know, I know, what a disappointment. It's just that I'm fascinated by her renowned infamy. She started the whole S&M/fetish movement (unknowingly of course...and obviously didn't realize what kind of cult status she would ultimately attain). She just thought she was taking pretty pictures. Risque ones, but I'm sure she might have told herself that it was the modern trend for fashion models to do. What a career booster! I'm thinking lil Miss Bettie might have been a wee bit naive. huh, why does that remind me of someone?..oh wait, yeah ..
I like pretty much all venues of music. I'd like to think I'm well rounded in that department. My friends call me the walking jutebox because i always have some song stuck in my head that i must share out loud when it comes to mind (hehe). I'm sure it's annoying as hell, but what can i say, i can't help that i love to sing. Anyways, to get straight to the point (and this is only a mere sample i mind you), I'm really in to MUSE, the beatles, the shins, pink floyd, weezer, frou frou, 311, sublime, rufus wainwright, death cab for cutie, mars volta, snow patrol, better than ezra, primus, curtis mayfield, imogen heap, blind melon, tool, the doors, al green, jamiroquai, rage against the machine, soundgarden, the pixies, the format, sigur ros, rasputina, alice in chains, red hot chili peppers, mae, the life and times, silverchair, wolfmother, dr. john, dizzie gilespie, phish, portishead, the decemberists, janis joplin, the strokes, slayer, miles davis, keane, built to spill, rilo kiley, deftones, the clash, the cure, mogwai, do make say think, built to spill, cake, the who, fleetwood mac, jimi hendrix, stevie ray vaughn, woody guthrie, the rat pack, ella fitzgerald, nina simone, i even love broadway. Uummmm let's see...nirvana, oasis, poe, at the drive in, widespread panic, bella fleck/victor wooten, ben harper, bjork, the dirty dozen brass band, the mahavishnu orchestra, silverchair, autolux; oh and did i mention g. love and special sauce..the killers, the beastie boys, oysterhead, radiohead, jeff buckley, jeff beck, beck, mazzy star, system of a down, tom waits...i could go on and on people. ..
I don't know why my brain absorbs movies and entertainment knowledge like a sponge. When it comes to important things like school, I just kinda zone. Having ADD and selective hearing doesn't help me out either. Anyway, if I had to choose a favorite movie I don't really think I could. I'm however not a big fan of foreign films. I can't read the text and follow along with the movie at the same time. I suppose that's the ADD coming into factor hehe. But if you ask me a question related to this subject I could probably answer it (even if I've never seen it before). I'm not sure why though, it's still a mystery to me.
As far as recent shows I like The Simpsons, Family Guy and most of the Adult Swim cartoons. I've really gotten into Heroes and Grey's Anatomy too. I absolutely love Nick at Nite and TV Land. I grew up on that shit. You can't mess with classics like I Dream of Jeannie, Bewitched, The Jeffersons, The Munsters, and gotta love my Scooby Doo. Oh, and I really do love Lucy! But I don't really watch too much tv these days. I suppose I would if I had cable, but I'm a broke college student! Have you seen how much art supplies cost these days? Yikes!!!
My favorite book is The Lovely Bones.A woman by the name of Alice Sebold wrote it. Her other bestseller called Lucky is amazing as well. I definitely recommend checking them out. Right now I'm trying to read this book a friend had loaned me called The Hotel New Hampshire by John Irving. i'm loving it so far. But the classics for me are...Valley of the Dolls, Interview With the Vampire, Helter Skelter, The World According to Garp, Running With Scissors, The Giver, In Cold Blood, all of the Harry Potter books...I'm mean it's like i said in my music section..i could go on and on...
