I originally wrote this poem (the first four verses) and recited it for Nancy at our wedding.
A year later I added a verse and turned it into a song for our 1st Anniversary.
Nancy's Song
~May 2nd, 1998~
My soul-mate, my lover,
My friend to the end,
An angel from heaven
To me God did send.
She brightens my days
With her warmth and her love,
I've no doubt in my mind
She's from heaven above.
She has put a song in my heart
That no one else could
She was sent here from heaven
Because God understood.
She is all that I
Could ever want in this life,
God answered my prayers
And sent me my wife.
He holds our lives In the palm of His hand,
