NEW TRACK + NEW BLOG!!!

Over the last two years Ive been trying to be true to myself and find myself in some way. It seems that music has helped me do that. Everyone has melodies and rhythms in their head at times. These give me the drive to produce when I combine them with ideas in general. To add to that getting the drive and kick out of MiC play. Writing tunes with thoughts, emotions and ideas and making masterpieces.
S.G
S.G or Ess-gee, formally known as Strategy for full or strattz. Has been doing music for up to 5 years now. He has always favoured a vast range of music such as, Soul, Jazz, Rock (Some), House, Garage, Hip Hop, R & B, Electronic & Ambient and many more. Once the genres of Old- School Grime & electronic hit from the likes of early artists like Dizzie Rascal, Wiley & Roll Deep he like many picked up the pen to write and see what the big deal was.
He is a South London born and bred 17 year old Artist/Producer. Born in Tooting, living up to 6 years in Battersea(Doddington Estate), South West London and then Croydon, Thornton Heath, Surrey/ South East London(Whatever you know it as.) This is where he spent most of his life and started music.
He is formally from/but still joined on to a South London based batch called Impact Entertainment with the likes of Mozart, Respah , Vexzo , Shugz who he spent lots of his time music around. Importantly he spent alot of time around Rikz, who is the artist it all started with as he dragged S.G into actually stepping up to the MiC, Spitting to mostly the beats of Stimpy & scru-face, Young Dot (as he was known as at the time.) and also steely.
Everyone mentioned, including S.G at the time, still known as strategy found music to be a turn away point from the harsh atmosphere of the area, isolating them and keeping them away from, the knives, guns, dirty cash, hoodrats, drugs as many friends and family and everyone close were just constantly getting, hurt, killed , or chucked in Pen. Plus standing that place you wouldnt really find anyone to trust as your enemies can turn out be the ones to save you and your family and friends turn out to be the ones to snake, backstab, feed -off and turn on you when times are harsh. It truely is one gritty cycle.
Nobody was perfect at the time as most of the lyrics was unconstructive, hood motivated music and reckless talk. At 16 S.G's mind-frame change along with his values and he then stepped up, spreading his music wide and rising his consistancy and changing the whole concept.
