BIOGRAPHY:
Evil Masquerade was founded in the summer of 2003 in Copenhagen by guitarist Henrik Flyman (Moahni Moahna, Zool, Wuthering Heights). He hooked up with Dennis Buhl (drums), Kasper Gram (bass) and vocalist Henrik Brockmann (Royal Hunt) to record the bands debut album.
It was released early 2004 under the name "Welcome To The Show" with special guests Richard Andersson (Majestic, Time Requiem, Space Odyssey), Andre Andersen (Royal Hunt), Mats Olausson (Yngwie Malmsteen) & Lars Boutrup. It almost immediately received worldwide recognition and made the charts in Japan at no 8.
Only a year later it was followed up with their 2nd album "Theatrical Madness" which contains guest keyboard players Andre Andersen, Richard Andersson & Mikkel Jensen. Even though "Theatrical Madness" gained the band many new fans around the world they were still a bit anonymous to the broader audience.
After two line-up changes they were again back in the studio and ready to record their 3rd opus "Third Act" - and today the fanbase has grown quite strong. The current line-up consists of Henrik Flyman (guitar), Dennis Buhl (drums), Thor Jeppesen (bass) & vocalist Apollo Papathanasio (Faith Taboo, Majestic, Time Requiem, Meduza, Sandalinas & Firewind). Special invited guests are David Rosenthal (Rainbow, Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai) and Richard Andersson.......
