Hmmmmm... Well let's start at the beginning... Born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa. Graduated from West High School in 1991 and joined the Marine Corp with my best friend Bryan Kuenning. Doing bootcamp together was interesting but I couldn't have imagined doing it with anyone else. After packing on the muscle and the attitude I thought I was on top of the world. Reality set in but College wasn't that bad. I did a year at the University of Northern Iowa and a year at Hawkeye Community College. During the next few years I had an opportunity to do some traveling and meet a lot of people. I started my own company and ran it for about 4 years. Then I had my son Garrick in Jan of 1995. Over the next 3 years I continued to do some traveling and was awarded permenant custody of my son in 1998. Haven't heard from his mother since(going on 10 years). I became a General Manager of a nightclub for the next few years. I had some of my best times with my best friend Aaron Schurman. Then I met Trisha and we moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 2002. Got a new job as a Manager for Romano's Macaroni Grill. I learned a lot with that company over those 3 1/2 years. Trisha and I had a daughter while we were there named Jocelyn born Jun 2003. I then ended up getting a job with LA FITNESS as the General Manager of the Training Department for a year. We grew as a couple over those 5 years in Phoenix and finally decided that with 2 kids we should move back to Iowa. I know,you ask WHY back to Iowa? Well, family becomes more important to you as time goes on. I love my family and plan on making future with Trisha.(Finally getting my priorities straight) Back to the timeline.....I then was hired as a Manager at the Texas Roadhouse in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Recently started investing in Real Estate, formed a LLC, bought a couple duplexes last year, and just bought a 12 plex on March 1st of this year. We hope to have 20-30 properties in the next 5-8 years which will allow for retirement at an early age....Which brings me to the current...Who knows what the future has in store... Marriage?/Probably;-) Another Kid?/Maybe ;-)
